Caring

Someone who is caring shows sensitivity towards another person's needs and feelings.  A caring person is willing to volunteer their time to serve others and is committed to take action when necessary, such as helping the needy or the poor.

Here are a few quotes about being caring from some notable historical figures:

“Life is not lost by dying; life is lost minute by minute, day by dragging day, in all the thousand small uncaring ways."   Stephen Vincent Benet

“Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community."   Anthony J. D'Angelo

"It is only a poor sort of happiness that could ever come by caring very much about our own pleasures.  We can only have the highest happiness such as goes along with being a great man, by having wide thoughts and much feeling for the rest of the world as well as ourselves."   George Eliot

"What this misguided world and generation needs is a massive group of courageous and caring, wise and unwearying women."   Elaine Cannon
