Thanksgiving Point Summer Days Camp
Thanksgiving Point Summer Days Camp is a great way for your kids to learn while having fun! Space fills up quickly, so you’ll want to register your children as soon as possible!

Summer Activities for Jr. High School Students
Harmon’s Cooking Classes
Harmon’s grocery stores offer cooking classes throughout the summer. One of the best ways to teach teens about eating healthy and the real-life application of math is by teaching them how to cook! This is a great opportunity for them to learn a new skill.
The Leonardo is an exciting museum that combines science, technology, and art. They have several hands-on experiences, traveling exhibits, pasta-making courses, and so much more! We suggest getting a membership pass for discounts and members-only events!
Red Butte Gardens
Red Butte Gardens is a botanical garden and arboretum that shows the beautiful nature Utah has to offer. They have different events throughout the summer and even offer summer camps for kids and teens! This is a great way for your teen to learn about nature while being in nature!
Summer Activities for High School Students
Every summer the wildflowers come into bloom, and it is quite the sight! This is a great way to see Utah’s natural beauty. To get to this event, you’ll need to take a small hike up Cecret Lake. If you need help with accessibility, the ski lifts will be running. The best part about this event is that it is completely free!
Explore Timpanogos Cave
If you want to give your teens a visual treat, consider taking them up to Timpanogos Cave. They’ll get to see the stunning vistas that have formed as well as learn the science behind them. This is a great activity because they get to discover rock formations as they go along.
2D Video Gaming Camp
The 2D Gaming Camp is a STEM-oriented program organized and run by Weber State University. This is a great way for your teen to learn about two-dimensional video games while in a university setting. Seating is limited to 25 participants, so you’ll want to sign them up as soon as possible!
One of the biggest myths about 5k marathons is that you have to be good at running to be able to participate in them. These are great ways to teach students the importance of exercise. There are so many 5K runs that happen throughout the summer. Have your teen pick one that interests them and have them go for it!
Providence Hall Cares
We know how important it is for children and teens to have a fun summer while staying engaged. We love educating your children throughout the school year and want them to make the best of the summer! We’ll miss our students, and look forward to having them back for the 2021-2022 school year!
