PRINCIPAL’S WELCOME

Dear Providence Hall Community,

Providence Hall is an exceptional school whose IB curriculum cultivates student’s cognitive abilities through teaching them to critically think, inquire, and analyze. Through the implementation of the IB curriculum, students are able to gain the college and career-ready attributes necessary for post-secondary educational success. Additionally, we offer full CTE pathways, concurrent enrollment courses, AP, and honors classes to challenge students and help them develop career-specific as well as college level skills.  They become contributors to the global community and learn how to learn. They also learn the importance of service and being a part of the community.

We have truly seen this in each of our graduating classes.  Not only have they gone on with college credit but have indicated how ready they feel for their post-secondary education.  Our staff are committed to instilling these valued qualities into our educational community. The IB program is challenging and expects a lot from our community as a whole but, as we work together, we have seen each student develop the academic and behavioral growth they need to be successful in today’s global community.

Additionally, our school participates in sports and activities through the 3A UHSAA region 14.  Our school has seen tremendous success in both our performing arts and our athletic programs. Our dedicated teachers and coaches provide individual instruction to students and our small school environment allows students to participate in many sports and activities which is something that is challenging in a large high school.  This provides students the opportunity to explore their skills in many areas helping develop the whole student. We have won 5 region championships in our sports and activities in just our 5th year of participation and had superior ratings in our performing arts programs. Our students are truly rising to the challenge!

It is Providence Hall’s commitment to the IB curriculum, academic rigor, sports and activities offerings, and development of critical thinking and reasoning skills that make it an exceptional educational institution.  Providence Hall truly is leading the way in developing students who will be leaders in the local and global communities. Go Patriots!

High Regards,

Nathan Marshall
