Providence Hall is passionate about delivering students a learning experience of the highest quality. Using inquiry-based teaching methods, you should feel safe in knowing that your student will be taught using the best curriculum by highly trained and qualified teachers. Starting in Kindergarten students are taught to think critically and explore content through themes that show them how to make connections between the content they are learning and the world in which they live, thereby helping them retain the information longer. As the students move to the Junior High and High School they are taught how to do research, pose questions, and find answers for themselves; teaching them to be lifelong learners. The curriculum taught in our AP, IB, and concurrent enrollment classes is geared to count toward college credit. Providence Hall is the only K-12 IB School in the state of Utah that can provide your student with experience for higher education. Combined with a wide array of extracurricular activities and elective classes, your student can feel empowered to take on higher education in whatever form they choose.
You can expect your student to learn how to think critically while also learning how to communicate effectively with fellow students and teachers. We strive to teach our students how to act responsibly in an ever-changing global community. Responsibility is taught through inquiry based learning and character education. These skills and values are taught at all grade levels so they can have a strong sense of character by the time they graduate. Emphasis in the classroom is placed on taking action, not just book learning. We also stress providing service to our community which helps your student become a responsible global citizen.
