Welcome to Providence Hall, the only K-12 International Baccalaureate World School in the state of Utah, and one of only a handful in the United States. At Providence Hall we strive to provide an environment that encourages students to think critically, communicate effectively, and act responsibly in an ever-changing global community. We emphasize this through inquiry-based teaching and learning, character education taught at all grade levels, and an emphasis not just on book learning, but on taking action and providing service to our community thereby creating global citizens. We look forward to educating your student for their future!
Students at Providence Hall will receive a world-class education from teachers who know and care about them, an administration who sees to their needs, and a Board who is truly looking out for their best interest. Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in their learning, instead of just repeating back memorized facts. They will experience new electives, learn new languages, try new sports in PE class and extracurricular activities through the Utah High School Activities Association, and learn how to take action on what they are learning. Our extracurricular activity offerings include the performing arts and visual arts along with debate and sports. These are offered both during the day and after school so students can participate no matter their schedule. When your child attends Providence Hall, they will feel empowered to achieve both their academic and extracurricular goals.
Many of our students develop strong work ethics and a hunger for excellence while at Providence Hall. Just check out our Class of 2020’s impressive statistics:

Providence Hall enrolls students on a lottery-based system. Simply submit your child’s application into our pool and we run a lottery annually to determine which children will be added to our list of amazing students. Drawing names from a lottery ensures there are no biases or pre-qualifications for attendance. We strive to provide equal opportunity to all students and potential students. For information on submitting an application for your children to participate in the lottery, you can find instructions on our enrollment page.
When your student enrolls in a Providence Hall Charter School, they will immediately be immersed in our inclusive and rigorous program. Our charter school has a unique mission and vision that sets us apart from district schools and allows our students the opportunity to find a school that helps them feel successful in their individual learning styles.
Providence Hall encourages all students to participate in extra curricular activities like drama or choir. Students will feel empowered to accomplish all of their academic goals while still enjoying an exciting performing arts curriculum.
Providence Hall students are offered a wide variety of athletics from mens and womens basketball to track and field. Tryouts, practices, and games are all held after school hours so students can enjoy the benefits of our charter school while still feeling fulfilled through extracurriculars.
